A financial accounting firm wants to launch PPC campaigns, but the site was not getting indexed. It needed SEO optimizations to be able to start the campaigns.

After an SEO audit, we were able to verify that the page was in the following state:

  • - +450 pages published, with duplicated content or even no content at all.
  • - Only 30 pages indexed
  • - Orphan pages
  • - As it was a multi-lingual site, the languages were mixed in both the slug and the content
  • - Lack of metadata
  • - No indexing of relevant keywords in Search Console
  • - Duplicated H1 or No H1 at all
  • - 404s

So what did we do?

  • - We tidied up the site! We defined which pages were not supposed to be online (for example, empty templates) to get the real number of pages with relevant content. We deleted what was to be deleted, redirected what was not to be deleted and so we ended up with a less than 100 pages website
  • - Fixed bugs with the translations plug in
  • - Keyword research
  • - Organic competitor analysis
  • - We defined the main and secondary keywords for each service
  • - We added YOAST to be able to proceed with metadata optimisation
  • - Improvement of Titles, Htags, URLS.
  • - Internal linking improvement. We also added CTAs
  • - We've tweaked the menu and footer to make them UX friendly
  • - Among other things

Results

  • - Fast indexing of pages
  • - Indexing of relevant keywords for the niche
  • - More than 500% organic visits after 3 months
  • - + 140 CTR

In this way, the site was ready to launch the PPC campaigns that the client initially wanted
